AquaGenTech

AquaGenTech is a private company headquartered in Busan, South Korea. The company was founded by Dr. Keun-Yong Kim in 2016. He majored in ecology and molecular phylogeny of marine phytoplankton at Pukyong National University, South Korea. He received post-doctoral fellowships at Pukyong National University and University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin, USA. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed research articles in taxonomy, ecology, and phylogenetics of phytoplankton, and population genetics, phylogenetics, and genotyping of aquatic animals. As the CEO of AquaGenTech, he works with a firm belief in the commercial value recreation of aquatic organisms based on genetic biology.

With a strong background in molecular biology, he and his staff provide reliable services for DNA barcoding and metabarcoding and genetic monitoring of aquatic organisms and develop accurate and cost-efficient genetic markers for aquatic microorganisms, animals, and pathogens. They have also conceived and developed a remarkably efficient and innovative methodology for genetic analysis services.
