Anguilla Viruses Multiplex qPCR Kit
AquaAmp®Anguilla Viruses Multiplex qPCR Kit
The AquaAmp® Anguilla Viruses Multiplex qPCR Kit was developed based on the patented technology officially transferred from the National Fisheries Science, South Korea (Registration No. 10-2239384, Korean Intellectual Property Office). The kit consists of all real-time PCR reagents (i.e., primers, probes, DNA polymerase, dNTPs, buffer, etc.) for simultaneous detection and quantification of two pathogenic viruses of Anguilla species, Anguillid herpesvirus-1 and 2 (AnHV) and Japanese eel endothelial cell necrosis virus (JEECV).
The PCR primer sets and TaqMan probes bind to the DNA polymerase catalytic subunit gene (Pol) of AnHV and the large T-antigen-like protein gene (LTLG) of JEECV and simultaneously produce different fluorescent signals during real-time PCR amplification. They are designed to be sufficiently conserved to anneal to the two pathogenic viruses with high specificity and sensitivity. The kit can be easily used to detect and quantify both infected fish tissues and farm water samples, in which they are floating before or after infection.
